Where is the line between the real and the imaginary? How do we navigate this boundary in the modern world?

Kynon is the first part of the tale 'Owain,' from The Mabinogion, the earliest story cycle of Welsh tradition.

This new music theatre piece reimagines the Bardic source material as a modern musical graphic novel presentable both live and in podcast format.

It is an intentional art work exploring the relationship between humanity and the supernatural, and what it means to modern consciousness.

Its development cycle uses an iterative process drawn from Agile software development, adapted to the creative needs of music drama.

This commission would be an ideal gift for fans of fantasy such as J.R.R. Tolkien or Robert Jordan, filtered through a lens of postmodern pop culture (Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, etc.).

Kynon will be distributed as a digital podcast -  free for all listeners - on Awen Records, available through Apple Podcasts.
